How Sneyash Private Limited collects, processes, secures and shares information across the SNEYASH trust, risk and compliance platform.
This Privacy Policy describes how Sneyash Private Limited ("SNEYASH", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information in connection with the SNEYASH platform, our websites, APIs and related services (together, the "Services"). SNEYASH is a business-to-business platform that helps organisations onboard, verify, monitor and assess risk for the external entities they work with - including customers, vendors, suppliers, contractors, distributors, dealers, franchise partners, service providers and consultants.
Because the Services are used by businesses, this policy distinguishes between data we process as a controller (for our own website visitors and account users) and data we process as a processor on behalf of our customers (the entity data they upload and verify through the platform).
When a customer uses SNEYASH to onboard, verify or monitor its own entities, the customer is the data controller and determines the purposes and means of processing. SNEYASH processes that data on the customer's documented instructions under the terms of the applicable customer agreement and data processing terms.
For our public website, marketing, demo requests, support enquiries and the administration of customer accounts, SNEYASH acts as the controller of the relevant personal data.
Certain features use artificial intelligence to extract data from documents, analyse contracts and detect potential fraud or anomalies. These outputs are designed as decision-support tools to assist human reviewers and the customer's own approval workflows. They do not, by themselves, make final decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement on the customer's side.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services; compliance with legal obligations; and, where required, consent. Customers are responsible for establishing an appropriate legal basis for the entity data they process through the platform.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer entity data to build commercial profiles for unrelated purposes.
We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege permissions, secure storage, network protections, logging and full audit trails. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect the Services and respond to incidents promptly.
We retain personal and entity data for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain audit trails, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements. Customers control retention of their entity data within the platform, subject to applicable law and contractual terms. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised.
Where data is processed outside the country in which it was collected, we put in place appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection laws to ensure the data remains protected.
Subject to applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict or object to the processing of their personal data, and to data portability. Where SNEYASH acts as a processor, we will refer requests to the relevant customer (controller) and support them in responding. To exercise rights for data we control, contact us using the details below.
The Services are intended for use by businesses and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other appropriate means. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
